Because of a power outage, I seem to have lost all 20 of my saves. Whenever I launch the game, I get this error, and it won't go away no matter what I do. It's a real shame, and I have no desire to replay everything from scratch.

Really sorry to hear that... sounds like the power outage might have corrupted some of the files in the game.
Your saves should still be in the 'save' folder though, right? If they are, you should be able to just download the game again and transfer your saves over to the fresh download.
If it somehow ate your saves too though, I really don't know what to say or how that happened.
