Hi, and sorry for the trouble!

Thanks for reporting it. The problem came from a Microsoft component (the Visual C++ runtime) that is missing on some PCs and was needed to start the app. Version 1.0.1, now available on the download page, includes everything it needs, so nothing else has to be installed.

Since you have the portable version, just delete the old folder, then download and unzip the new one (or use the itch app, which updates it automatically).

Once the app starts, click "🔑 Free version" in the toolbar, paste the license key shown on your itch.io download page (and in your purchase email), then click "Activate" to unlock everything.

If it still doesn't work, I'll give you a full refund, no questions asked. In that case, the app should now show an error message. If you can, please send me what it says, or the file %APPDATA%\generateur_stickmen\erreur.txt, so I can fix it for everyone.

Still glitchy starts only sometimes, is there a script generated upon start? if you intend to continue with this software and upgrade it i will keep it in the hope of future updates.

You are describing a very strange behaviour. I will keep upgrading it. But I have some questions for you : did you download the new version (1.0.1) ? Could you activate the license key ? Have you been able to do something with the app, at least try it a little ? Do you have the possibility of trying it on another computer ? Perhaps the answers to these questions would help understand what's happening.

Yes I did download 1.01 and it made no difference the demo was the only one that worked and had to be activated only with a paste keyboard command not by typing it in. it is intermittent in starting and although the software seems to work in changing the characters, no animation operations seemed apparent . I now would like to ask for refund perhaps at a later date to re purchase.
