Hi!!! I am currently a student, and Our Life is the first game that I downloaded on itch. I have always enjoyed the game since I first saw it in 2022, and absolutely adore the effort put into the visuals, the entire vibe and cuteness of the characters, and (of course) its massive degree of freedom. I'm absolutely addicted to this game I swear :D

So now anxiously waiting for the Early Release... And decided to register and give a comment to you guys! Really love the whole Our Life idea! Later I also did play the beginning and always game, also XOXO droplets, and I really think you guys make such great cute games. Sadly I'm still a student so I only accessed the free games... But when the game come in full release I'll be over 18 and I'll make sure to finally have a taste of the DLC's!

btw I also kind of encountered a technical difficulty... From around a year before my mac started to disfunction and could not open anything downloaded from itch, so I was forced to switch to my phone for the game. I do see that you guys have a Steam page and some of the games support mac. I also see that both Our Life games don't. May I ask why is that so? I'd really like to play Our Life on a larger screen, and really the Steam purchase method would be much more convenient for me. Thanks a lot if you answer! Again I really adore this game :D

Hello! We're so happy you've enjoyed the games, and thank you so much for playing. As for why the Steam versions do not support Mac, that is because several years ago, Apple changed the their approval process for games, requiring lengthy review and fees to determine if a game was "safe" for their platform. Itch.io is fine with apps that haven't does this process, but Steam requires it. It's possible some day we might go through the effort, but we aren't sure when that will be.

However, if you can still download the free Mac version from itch.io, the Steam version of the DLCs is cross-compatible, and so you can play them on Mac without having to purchase anything on itch.io itself. We can potentially help walk you through the process if you need help. Either way, we appreciate you being here, and hope you have a wonderful day!
