The music sounds nice, I liked the loading screen, this has a lot of potential, I tried to play this in Nobara Linux, but is not properly working, its running at 15FPS and is not rendering any 3D objects, not your fault tho, maybe a Linux compatible version in the future? this could open the handheld market for your game.

I've added a Linux build. I tested it on Ubuntu. As for the FPS, you can try disabling the border lights. They use up quite a bit of GPU processing power.

I was able to play the game now, let me share you my thoughts.

The good.

1.-The graphics are very nice, the combination of cardboard with leds is very original. 2.-The menu looks fun and is very serviceable.

The areas of opportunity.

1.-The scale of the ships can be a little bit weird compared against the track. 2.-Maybe bigger boost zones. 3.-The movement (A/D) sometimes is not compatible with the current track, in the Fzero games we have more lineal tracks, I think this game could benefit with a more Tunnel/Tube approach instead of conventional curves.

And about this: “Let me know if you’re enjoying the game or if there’s no point in continuing to develop it.” I think its your call, there are a lot or racing games, but I do see the potential for this one, playing this on a handheld feels optimal.

I might be biased, I support anything Fzero related, good luck!

Thanks for your review. Finally, a review from someone who’s actually played the game instead of just watching videos. Does your impression change if I tell you that I drew inspiration from the old 2D games instead of the newer 3D ones? The 3D versions have been copied so many times already—I didn’t want to do the same thing. You can change the camera view using the top face button on the gamepad or the page up key on the keyboard. I forgot to include that in the menu. And please explain again what you mean by the scale between the track and the vehicles.

Hey, that changes the perspective a lot! but I consider that having the 2D mechanics on a very stylized game can be confusing for some players, but it can work if you apply some kind of retro filter, and for the scale, I feel like the ships are too small or maybe the camera is too far away from the ship, at least in my case, that makes me lose a little bit of concentration of what I have ahead.

Unfortunately, nobody noticed that it was about  the 2D games. I must have done something crucially wrong. What kind of hardware did you use to test the demo, and were you able to reach 60 fps?

Hey, yes, I was able to run the game at 60 FPS,

I have a Ryzen 5 5600x, 16 GB Ram , AMD RX 6700 XT
