That was a lot of fun! The graphics were definitely simple, but at least the color coded blocks made it obvious what each of them did. On the other hand, the character was cute and the music was quite snazzy!
The level was fine, even if a bit on the big and empty side. The generous checkpoints were very appreciated, and the map was definitely a huge help once I remembered that it was a thing (and the MVM easter egg was hilarious)! I think my biggest problem was with how slow the character walks, which made some of the backtracks pretty annoying as I was trying to find whatever upgrades I needed.
That said, I liked how many different upgrades there were for such a relatively small game, and the little shooting challenges with the bouncy shot were a nice change of pace. I also really liked the part where you shoot a green block and suddenly the ground starts collapsing from under your feet, that was a really neat little set piece!
Overall, good job!
