Even though it's still a prototype, the vibes are very promising. It captures the classic Game Boy style really well, and I especially liked the character sprites and the overall tone.
It took me a little while to understand how to move around, but considering the current state of the project, that's understandable.
Definitely a promising start!

Glad you liked the characters - art is my favorite aspect of game design/ development.
I'll improve the controls - I was noticing some issues with the gamepad and some of the alternative controls.
Yeah, I was kinda rushing when putting it all together at the end. ^_^"
Next time I'm only going to do 1 level. XD
It's a bit of a mess but I'll clean it up in the next build/ update.
