I love the idea for the control scheme. I just wish it was more lenient, because the beginning is way too hard if you don't fullscreen. Maybe the countdown could not reset when the mouse leaves the cat, or at least wait a second or two before resetting? Otherwise it requires movement that's too precise to be fun until you get a couple upgrades to petting radius.
