Well yeah, that's what I mean. You want to join a better sect when you move up the planes. It's not as if that's a challenge. I had plenty of money by the time I ascended to refound and rebuild a sect, and if someone didn't have the money they could just join one of the existing sects. But having to destroy your old sect to do that felt wierd narratively.
