Quite late to reading but I'm glad I did, what a story :-].
I'm not Korean but it still felt familiar to me how you wrote these characters (and also reading the behind the scenes for them) I also enjoy the tackling of religion/su-jin's religious upbringing/clash with her father (and possibly the rest of her family).
It does feel like how su-jin feels the world, it goes by in a flash and you're just waiting for that special moment to indulge, but you know in some way that this isn't your path, not the path that makes you respectable and well seen by others.
Also, a personal note from me. But as a Chinese diaspora in south east Asia, I found it very shocking but... Humanizing? To see a casual mention of the consumption of dog meat in the story. Throughout my life online and offline, just in general east Asians (and other Asians of different kinds) are labeled as inhumane monsters who'd torture and eat anything that moves. It's the one stereotype that just creeps up in the back of my mind even though I live in a place where the majority demographic is Chinese. But seeing it just handled so casually and neutrally here kinda puts me at ease, cause any other time it's mentioned, you'll have to flip a coin on whether how it's talked about is extremely racist.
But no need to dwell on that, love your colors and your character designs!! Thank you for making this story. Su-jin is the most normal girl ever :heart:
