I once played sepia tears when i was in 7th grade, i found it in play store when searching dating sim, something like that. i really don't understand the story that much but i understand some of it to the point i also feel emotional. I love the music especially "when the fog parts" Both version are good, It makes the story more emotional to read.
I also love the characters design unlike modern ones, i think i prefer this and also something with the background makes me relax and feel nostalgic, a bit unsettling, maybe because i watch too many liminal spaces but i really love the background of the game, it looks real to me back then when i first play it.
The second time i play it was when i was in 10th grade, it was around the time i was so bored at everything and lowkey feel depressed, and suddenly i remember this game, so i play it again, i kinda understand the story except mark and lilian relationship but i understand the rest, also was there a dead ending? Anyway i enjoy it more than before, what i really love this game is the story, background, music, and the character design.
I personally think they fit in the environment. Now that im an adult and a 1st year college, I plan to read it again, sadly my new phone can't download it in play store since the game is old, ig im gonna use my laptop for this.
