James SAs Julian
I worded my comment poorly. I understand that the event was written to show how far gone James became, I just got tonal whiplash because of how quickly his peer pressure turned felonious - as well as the lack of a way to subvert the action immediately before it occurs. I assumed the player would be able to sort things out with Julian in Mogador and maintain a platonic relationship, wherein the lizard would retain agency; but its my fault for missing the warning signs of James's increasingly problematic behavior. The inclusion of the scene was a bold choice, and I'm happy that y'all are bringing attention to serious topics like sexual assault.
But the choices you make that don't convince him into going are either being rude to him, or still attempting to pressure it by guilting him ("I can't do this without you")
I don't think you can ever ask him if he really wants to do this or lay off unless you ask Wolf, I've not done that route yet, but I'm sure you need a high relationship with him which probably locks you out of the Julian drama in the first place.
