I was in the same boat that the old issues w/ x5000 didn't have much of an issue for me, when I would tab back the speed would need to ramp up from 4000 or 4100 back to 5000 but it would be done as long as the tab was active.
After Hotfix, I get around 3500-3800/5000 when wandering and it visibly looks clunky when doing fighting.
