I'm so passionate about this otome. as a dark fantasy lover who enjoys interactive choice making games this really is an amazing work of art. since May of this yr I have been trying to get back to playing and finishing chapter 8. even though I remember a lot of the story and where I left off, I just couldnt help but restart for those little moments with Anthony. My fav part of the game honestly. like what inspires someone to make such a beautiful thing? The writing carries this as well. its not one of those stories comics or games where the art seems to carry the whole appeal. no. you can tell it is plot driven depending on the route you take. and the characters emotions are well felt and thought out. idk. I've kept this to myself mostly until now but Aryx explained this perfectly. its awesome I adore it!

As to what inspired me, I think I've always had some love for gothic monsters and tbh I thought it would be a good excuse to explore bad endings ( I seem to enjoy writing these for some reason lol). I started creating this on a whim but after looking more into classical gothic literature and the historical context of its time, I have more appreciation for why it still holds so much appeal. I feel like there is a lot of interesting social reflections that still resonate to this day.
