When I first start it up it shows a disclaimer and then as soon as it tries to go to the next scene it just straight up crashes

Yes, but Lemuroid doesn't have cloud save storage for your game saves and the MyBoy emulator file size for the app is a little bit smaller than Lemuroid. But also every other GBA emulator other than MyBoy the ROM loads perfectly fine. This is just my opinion by the way you, don't have to agree about it.
