Really cool game and surprisingly difficult! Took me a long while, but I eventually finished the game! I never really had to use the items though nor did I have to buy any of the charms, as I didn't notice any impossible rooms after the example.
The art is great, everything feels very alive due to the animations! The music is also great, though it does get a little repetitive after an hour or so XD
Game fits the theme well, and everything feels very polished! Had a lot of fun deducting all the possible options, the later puzzles were fun especially!

Did notice a few very little inconsistencies, though do correct me if I'm wrong, as for some reason I make false math problem accusations quite often lol

I know the 1 and left 5 are interchangeable in this one, though I feel like 5 should be correct nonetheless

Same thing here, everything is correct if I'm not mistaken

These are very minor things though, and should be easy to fix I think! Nonetheless it's a really nicely made game. Great job, especially for a solo-dev! Definitely one of the most challenging games I've played this jam :D

(+1)

Heyy! Thank you for your positive feedback!
Congrats on finishing the game too, I might have made it a bit too long for a game jam haha

About the screenshots you sent, these rooms are in fact impossible rooms. So you did in fact encounter rooms where there were multiple solutions.
The first one was A(1) - B(5) - C(5) but could have been A(5) - B(5) - C(1) exactly as you said ^^. Since there are multiple solutions, it is an impossible room, and that would have been a good occasion to use the magnifying glass from your inventory
The second room you made a screenshot of also has multiple solutions, thus making it an impossible room too
Don't hesitate to ask more about it if I wasn't clear enough!

It's actually quite impressive that you never really had to use items in fact, because you're supposed to encounter a few of these rooms in a run, so I guess you must be pretty good at the game :D

Also, a few comments for this entry suggested me that it would be best to remove impossible rooms, but then it makes the item system a bit pointless... I'm not sure about I could have handled it, but if you ever have any suggestions, I'll be glad to hear them :D

Thanks again for finishing my game, it means a lot to me, especially since it's quite challenging as you said :>
