Our group of five played around with Open Tarot today! We were using a Thoth deck and a concise interpretation guide one of us wrote. We made a world together and decided to go GMless, so we made a character each.

We spent quite a while on worldbuilding and character creation, partly because we're not necessarily all versed in tarot interpretation but also because we were enjoying the process.

We then set up a quest and played out a few scenes, pretty free form as to resolution of challenges. It was a satisfying experience overall, the only minor issues I had was having to consolidate multiple cards in a spread, their interpretations and what they signified in Open Tarot (which would be easier if I were more familiar with tarot decks).

Specific feedback from our group:
- The prompts were good, especially around worldbuilding
- Fleshing out the challenge mechanic with more structure might have been beneficial
- Open Tarot might work very well for building out a set of mythology for a world.

Thank you for making and sharing Open Tarot, and giving us a fun time <3

Aaa this is so exciting to hear!! I'm so glad you all had fun, that sounds like an interesting deck to play with! Thank you so much for trying out my game and leaving a comment, it's made my week :D

And thank you for the feedback! Challenge and Conflict Resolution is definitely my focus for the first update of this game! I'll definitely start thinking about ways to add more structure and possibly even add some new options for cards and spreads! As well as offering more advice for new readers and interpreting cards! (tbh im quite new myself! I've found this game a great way to help me learn the cards haha) 💜
