A very unsettling read, which I feel it is exactly what it is supposed to be! Highlights for me were:

- The integration of real world ideas, such as the Four Humours

- The lore pages towards the end. The world of Rot feels very developed and helps play to feel grounded, rather than playing in a vacuum.

- The use of playing cards as a resolution mechanic. Makes a nice change for dice and keep everything streamlined.

- The gradual loss of body parts was reflected well in a range of mechanical changes to play, which made each choice on the 'Table of Loss' feel more impactful.

-  The concept of shopping being integrated with sleep, with the merchant visiting you in your dreams. A very nice touch.
