It's a bug, sorry - once the Steam release is dealt with I'll update the web version/web edition, including the fix for this

Controllers work in the free web version, too - or, they should, so let me know if you're having an issue. Do feel free to refund the web edition if that was the only reason
The Steam version is an evolved version, more polished and with more features, e.g.
- New vehicles
- New location(s)
- New road styles
- Vehicle customisation and tuning
- Traffic
- A music/radio player
- Improved UI and polish
- Improved controller support (ui navigation and such)
- and ongoing updates adding new content/upgrades over time
Mac support will take some time for the Steam version, Apple have some hurdles in the way that just added too much friction to resolve before release. I'm hoping to get Mac support figured out in the autumn
no worries on a refund as it was not that much anyway. I prefer using in the app anyway as seems to use less resources in a way. If it’s any help the hardest part ok Mac is usually graphics API only being metal mainly and old OpenGL the only best solution I have found is in rust using wgpu at the moment even experimenting with not using a gpu at all but even then Mac’s by default seem to use graphics api by default to make a window. It’s a headache, my windows pc broke about 2 years ago and been stuck on Mac ever since lol.
