Thanks, this really hits one of the things I’ve been thinking about most with MODAK. The hook I’m aiming for is compressing the usual MMORPG friction — installs, sign-ups, long tutorials, and hours before the “real game” starts — into something fast and minimal. Ideally, you can open the browser and be fighting, progressing, and meeting other players within minutes. The challenge is that making an MMO easier to learn can also make it feel less distinctive, so I’m still figuring out how to make that simplicity feel intentional rather than just generic. Your point about going deeper and polishing what is already there instead of constantly adding more systems is especially useful.
