Great creepy atmosphere and a strong sense of tension while searching for the pages. The darkness works really well for the horror vibe, although I found the controls and navigation a little unclear at times.
A clearer controls screen would help, and I think some subtle hints in the notes could make exploration more interesting. For example, if one note said something like “escaping,” the letter E could be partially covered in blood to subtly hint that the player should head East.
I also found a bug: if you move all the way West and then head South, you can fall through the ground.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience and I think the atmosphere is the strongest part of the game.
