Thanks for the feedback! I've been working on a lot of changes today and unfortunately I introduced a few bugs. I just uploaded a new version that should have solved the problem. Please let me know if it works well.

I just ran a single run through and rebirthed and everything seems to work well!
Edit: The return button on the options menu might need checking, I clicked on it to check on things, and the little green return button on the lower right side of the pop up menu did not go back to the game.
I was able to go to the home menu though.
