At the moment, the easiest way to tell if you have received an affection value is by the "Telltale Games" indicator. If you see it, indicated by the "<CHARACTER> liked this." or something similar, you know you've made the right decision. Do bear in mind that some characters do not have events on certain days, so it's up to the player to keep track.
