not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i bought the extended edition DLC on here and just realized this game is on steam. Is there any way i can get this file to work on steam without having to rebuy the DLC? love this game and would pay again in a heartbeat but i jut don't have the means to do that right now

Yes! The DLC files are actually cross compatible, since the base game version is free. You can simply put the DLC files directly into the "game" folder within the Steam directory. You can find this by right clicking on the same in your Steam library, going to "Manage", and the "Browse local files". If you need more help, let me know, and thanks for playing!
