Who you playing that you need tips for?
Ok, general tips it is. The only general tip is repetition and trail and error. Learn what works and what you like. Not super meaningful but not wrong. For specific characters, tips follow:
Amber: Full Offense or full defense. Pick early and try to commit. Certain cards can influence that decision. Defense is easier to commit to cause you can grab the lynchpin, Bodyslam, early on. Defense is easy. Offense is harder but more fun imo. And the cards to keep you alive, Vacuum wave and Counterbalance, are more rare and show up in later levels. Cards to discard and cards with evanescence work for both decks as do the cards Rock Solid and Stone Skin. Try not to go for cards with focus and breathing, they're bad imo. Win/Loss ratio :3/5 games.
Ruby: Good luck! She's kinda weak at the moment (again, imo) which is a shame cause futa is my jam and I like her story. The only thing I've ever really won with her is: high tension and freeplay cards. Using cards that refunds your energy in exchange for tension (Burst Through and Swift Evasion). This only really works if you get lucky and find Beatcount and Overproduce. Pheromones is a great defensive card and Rising Climax is a great finisher. Some of the newer cards are amazing like Hot Shot and Dick Slap but a lot of her stuff just doesn't pack enough punch. Win/Loss: 1.5/5.
Pearl: Someone posted a great strat for Thorns recetly so I wont get into that. Personally, I lean way more on hexes and mass discard while relying on Overflow for extra punch. Try to have 2 hex plates and 2 pillows but only 1 just of milk and bra (interchangable, your pick). Pond Rider and Drift Away are good draw/discard early but late game you'll want Clean up, Second Service and Swirl. I also like the transforming cards you only have to play one; Jiggle Physics and Milk Surge. I play this deck to where I have 0 attack cards and just win passively by cycling the entire deck every turn. Between this and thorns you wont have much trouble with pearl. Win/ Loss 4/5.
Beryl: Easy game, easy life. Beryl is strong. Build either poison or quake/fusion. Build mana leaf generation in both. Poison is fun but fusion is stronger cause certain monsters can clear your poison. With either style defense is a priority. Treeform is OP, build lots of leaf power and let your passive damage (poison and fusion) kill everything. Only the truly unlucky will lose with Beryl. Win/Loss: 5/5.
Spinelle: She's pretty easy but I've only been successful with Momentum. Keep your turn forward/back cards relatively even. Either Scaling sucks or I do, I never build it. Edge is good but make sure you have things to discard hexes that get added to your hand. Good Momentum builds can generate between 150 and 450 in one combo if you're clever. Win/Loss: 4/5
Good luck, Lil bro.
Beryl is broken indeed! She's getting a fair bit of tuning in the upcoming update. Regarding characters, they have lots of ways to be played, sometimes you might not even realize a build is possible until you experiment with it! Ruby is also not bad!
As for shard gathering, the whole system gets COMPLETELY reworked in an update next week. It should make pacing a lot better, also add difficulty settings.
