dude you need to seriously just give someone the reigns to this game. I get it this a time-consuming process and financially as well, but I can't get over how you can just put it on hiatus and want to work on another title. most fans disagree with this direction frankly I can see why if you couldn't finish this project after years of us paying into it. what makes us think the next IP will be any different? What's going to stop you from dropping this one because of criticism on something you liked in said story like the mind palace? I do hope you see that throwing away a title and moving to the next is a bad move and won't correct the hump you ran into, it's better to back up re do the game and integrate the mind palace from the get-go as to not lore dump on the audience.
