Hi,

it is “one Hob, many Hobs”, correct? Or is it always “Hobs”?

As there are quite some examples for the name of Hob Hill: Are Hobs known by that name everywhere?

Hi, great questions. I would call a singular entity a "Hob".

As to your second question, I think that is something definitely left up to interpretation. I think different cultures would have different customs and conventions with them so having another name is totally reasonable.  I refer to them only as that for simplicity's sake.
