Why does it take so long for the release? Hes finished the game anyway. Why cant he just release it now that he's done? We've waited for too long for this. It better worths atleast 2 hours of session length

If you really want the updates to get done faster, then you're gonna have to figure out how to join the dev team since LopaPhi IS a solo dev. As far as I'm aware, he writes, renders, codes, and makes the characters all by himself. Only things he leaves to others is everything mentioned at the top of this comment.
Sure, he could probably speed things up a little and be fine but this game's yet to disappoint me so I'm like 80% fine waiting for it. Maybe 70% if the next update takes 6 to 8 months to make/release.
Simple answer is that he needs to eat and rest not to mention that there is an outside world(JOB), also he's a solo dev. handling most of the animation by himself, and if u really wanna get the early access u have to join his Patreon.
Patience is the key for great success(I was also waiting for his next update since April)

Said by an impatient, ungrateful consumer expecting things to be done and granted when they nag and whine, and could've just check Patreon for devlogs or even check the recent dates of the posts to see if the dev's active without in need to pay for membership. All of that whinging over one AVN out of a hundred others.
