Hey! 💚🧟‍♂️

First of all, thank you so much for such a detailed message! 🙏❤️

I’m really happy to hear that you started playing SperApocalypse and that you’re enjoying the concept and gameplay. Reading things like this honestly gives us a huge motivation to keep developing the game.

About the vending machine — haha 😄 no, you weren’t stealing from the bandits! It is intentional for now. The vending machine system is still being balanced, and we are thinking about how shops, resources, and their prices should work in the future.

About the bandits respawning while you were looting — thank you for mentioning that! We are constantly watching how players experience the game, because sometimes something that feels frustrating can actually be a balance issue. Your feedback helps us understand what needs to be changed.

And about the base location — there is actually a much bigger building area! 👀🏠

If you go to the right from the starting area and continue toward the Infected House, keep going further. You’ll eventually find a huge open area specifically suited for building. It’s much bigger than the starting location, so you can build a proper base there and have plenty of room to expand. 🌲🏠

About the trees and enemies spawning inside your base — we are still improving the building and spawning systems, so we definitely want to make this experience better and more comfortable in the future.

As for the map, there isn’t a full exploration map yet because we are still expanding and changing the world. But I understand why you want one, especially when you’re exploring and looking for the perfect place to build.

And honestly, I love that you’re already exploring the world, looking for a base, looting bandit camps, and even discovering that apparently the bandits have an unlimited supply of fish stew. 😂🐟

Thank you again for playing and for taking the time to write all of this! ❤️ This kind of feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and I’m really glad you’re enjoying the game so far.

There is still a lot more coming to SperApocalypse. 🧟‍♂️💚🔥

Well I found that gigantic place to build the base and I think I can build a whole town there! Cool place, I wonder what kind of stuff will happen in the next updates because I think I explored most of the map by now, I just had to run because the enemies can't match my speed and stamina (except the ones that shoot at me), or maybe I'm just running in circles and there's a lot of things to discover yet

And what does that infected house do? I interacted with the door but nothing happened, do I need a special item or should I wait for future updates?

Also about the spawning system, sometimes happens to me all the time, when I kill an enemy I see that my backpack is full so I go to my base, which is like 40 steps from the nearest enemy, and when I come back to grab what I left behind another enemy has spawned. I think that the respawning system works with some kind of distance from the player, that leaves no room for looting "routes", it would be nice to have some kind of time (couple minutes) and distance for the enemies to respawn, that way we can kill everyone in one place, store our fresh stolen stuff and come back for the rest without more enemies already waiting there...I mean I'm not a game developer, I'm just a fan of your work

I'll try to do everything the game has to offer now, just in case I can help with more feedback, I like to help developers with their games this way because I know how hard it is so...I'll enjoy playing while I do it and I hope everything is good for you and your team! Good luck friend/s

I’m really happy you found that huge building area! 😂 You can basically build your own little apocalypse town there if you want. 🏠🌲

And honestly, thank you for testing the game this deeply. The fact that you’re actually trying everything, exploring the map, testing mechanics and then writing such detailed feedback is incredibly valuable to us. I know you said you’re not a game developer, but this kind of feedback from someone who actually plays the game is exactly what helps us understand what feels good and what doesn’t. ❤️

About the Infected House — you actually need a lockpick to get inside. 🔑

If your lockpicking skill isn’t upgraded, you’ll have around a 50% chance to successfully open it. And once you get inside, something interesting happens. 👀

There will be a dialogue where your choices affect what happens to your character, and the house can lead to different animations. So it’s not just a normal building with some loot inside — there are different situations depending on what you choose. 🧟‍♂️❤️

About the enemy spawning — yes, you’ve basically figured out part of how the current system works. 😄 The distance from the player is involved, and we are still trying to find the right balance.

It’s actually surprisingly difficult. If we make enemies respawn too slowly, players tell us that the map feels completely empty and there’s nothing happening. But if we make them respawn faster, other players tell us that there are too many enemies and they don’t even have time to loot. 😂

So we’re still experimenting and looking for that sweet spot between danger and actually having time to loot what you just fought for. Your idea about having both a distance requirement and a small timer is actually interesting, so I’ll keep that in mind. 👀

As for future updates… we have a LOT of ideas planned, and we’re going to implement them step by step. I don’t want to spoil everything yet, but I can give you one little secret. 🤫

After the main character becomes infected… she will eventually become a zombie. 🧟‍♀️👀

That’s all I’m going to reveal for now. 😂

Thank you again for being willing to test everything and help us improve the game. And please don’t feel like you need to find every single thing — just enjoy yourself and tell us what you naturally experience while playing. ❤️

It really means a lot to me that you understand how difficult game development can be and still choose to support us with your time and feedback.

Good luck surviving, friend. 🧟‍♂️❤️

Well I created a small game for my class project, I'm an awful programmer so I just stick to animation and basic modeling...What I want to express is that this field is full of art, dedication and love, that's why I always love small teams and independent creators, I know what it feels like. I just want to help in any way I can, except the economy, my home country is poor and I have issues so I can just give feedback and support, it's sad that every game has unique mechanics, mechanics I'd love to experience...but I can only pay for them, I mean everyone has to eat so I understand and I would do the same, sadly

Second, why didn't I think about a picklock? THAnks, I will try for sure, you -"hyped" me! (is that how I say it? , hype? im learning the language)
And well I'm happy you will keep in mind my spawning idea, and you also surprised me about the character...being a zombie? Wowie what will it be like? A counscious zombie so we can keep "surviving" (she is dead but alive..?) or...some kind of game ending mechanic that unlocks a lot of different animations with other zombies and enemies? Or just esthetic/apparel? I'm anxious in a good way thinking about it.

Good luck friends, I feel bad for writing a lot of comments so I want to ask, do you have a discord or something like that so I can keep giving feedback? Good luck and good job <33 3
