I don't want to sound ignorant, but as I understand, I would have to make a new material in Godot, with the albedo (the color) set as the texture then just set the specular and metallic as 0 and 0 (if I remember correctly, I rarely use them), because in Godot the models have built-in materials that can't be changed, only reassigned to custom materials. If I do that, it will fix it, but I advise you to fix the issue on the root level, so people don't have to tinker with the materials.
