Thanks a lot for the console log — that explains it. Your Firefox has the Pointer Lock API disabled by preference ("Request for pointer lock was denied because Pointer Lock API is disabled by user preference"), which is why mouse look needed the right-drag mode. The google-analytics errors are just your tracker blocking and are harmless.
About Space: it only makes you run while you're moving with WASD (there's no jump or interact on it). Does it still open/close the settings panel for you, or does it just do nothing? That tells me which fix is needed.
