I found something more interesting, however it happened in v1.09 so idk if that persist in v.1.12 (I must start over again a new save to try the new patches).
When I finished Esto Yensa with Vahn's team as last one, for some reason the Vera's sprite persist, even when changed to her. ALSO it unlocked some missing characters for no reason! Got another funny interaction in Branch Castle similar to Esto Yensa but that counts as spoiler.

Yeah, this is the bug I was talking about in another thread here recently XD, as it is now, you can avoid it by crossing the threshold to trigger party reunion with vera and not vahn...tho I wasn't aware it also unlocked characters... is it Adder and or Lyric? it could have been due to how the additional characters are checked for(base game uses seperate pages, with my moded version I condensed it into a single if/else tree lol)
