This comic is really striking. The succinctness, the pointedness of it, is really effective in getting the message across. The gesture drawings and illustrations contribute to the vibe very well, the blank space accompanied by thick lines adding to the feeling of matter of factness. I was not aware of this performance piece before reading this, but with this comic, I think you do a really good job of showing just how empty and performative gesture it is. Refusing direct communication with the actual people affected, choosing to focus on symbolism instead of actual action.
