I really loved this... the art and character designs were really charming and unique, I love how bug-coded Nita's design was especially. And the use of photography was really great too- being able to slowly recognize the photos in both stories as the same was a really cool feeling.

You captured the monotonous, creeping dread and anxiety of the end of the world approaching so well. Just trying to act like things are normal, throwing all your eggs into a basket that you aren't sure will really save you or that you even want.

I felt so bad for Nita. I felt for both of them, but as the POV character it was easy to feel for Nita while seeing her thought processes, her feelings. It was hard not to resent Malia sometimes, even if I could also understand her stresses as well. It was a really good depiction of a troubled relationship where both people really love each other, but outside stressors are making it harder and harder for that love to be 'enough'.

Wonderful and heartbreaking story. Ty for sharing it <3

a lot of nita's bug coding style was definitely avi2 (mimi)'s amazing vision. definitely read his postmortem and check it out!!! and i'm glad the photos blended together ^^ a lot of it was us working around limitations (we were running out of BGs) whilst messing around thematically. when i revisit this story i definitely want to make galia a kinder person but also much more suffocating in return. it is understandable why she is like this, but i would like to humanise her even more ! regardless i am super glad you enjoyed !!! <3
