i have so many thoughts in my head butttt first of all, thank you so much for this game!!! i enjoyed it sm i almost didnt sleep for it and ughhhhh so many things to love about this game like IM SERIOUS!!!!
tbh i didnt expect our mc to be an secret agent??? i was so excited when i read it cuz it makes everything feel like a cool detective drama (except it isnt cuz were slowly going mad as well..) . also our role being much bigger than anyone elses adds so much to the pressure!!! i had to take notes abt almost all of the info cuz i was so committed.. so far im liking our mc, at first i thought they were a complete professional so I was a bit thrilled, but surprisingly i was more intrigued in the fact that they're a novice. i hope mc will be able to show off more of their skills as the story goes on!!
the plot definitely gave me the goosebumps, with all this experiment shit going on and also the gorgeous art that helped with the creepy setting , i can 100% say that im very much terrified. also the characters??? very fun and interesting. love their dynamic with each other, especially between mc and naomi. like the first thought i had when i saw THAT 11 year old girl, is that I MUST protect her idk... its like a maternal instinct, it was automatic. the way mc serves as an anchor for naomi, was so sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. ofc naomi as an individual also intrigues me, its so interesting how the mc, an agent, is having a hard time reading a CHILD. im so sure that her character will have one of the most important roles in the narrative, knowing that she was able to keep up despite being a child. she definitely has the potential.
speaking of important roles.. im looking at you VIR. i understand that he was so quiet from the start because he was observing, but hes becoming more and more unpredictable. like i have so many questions. how was he able to stay conscious enough to talk to mc when the gas happened? HOW did he even know mc is an agent? why did he have no item? not even a token? like im just more confused than ever. other than that i have such mixed feelings about him. at first he's quiet, then suddenly he's helping mc out, then he GASLIGHTS us, then at the latest chapter somehow he's becoming more reliable and idk warm? im unsettled abt him but at the same time he's too interesting and thoughtful because of how well he was able empathize with others (him reading verity during discussion, comforting felicia, understanding saphira's burden, his talk with mc when they stayed) and he even led the team at the end!! like he said he'll solidify what saphira started. atp im not even sure abt his personality anymore but somehow he still captivated me (am i easy???) i know for sure tho that he definitely has a soft spot for mc and naomi. ughhhhh im loving his character sm AND dont even let me begin abt mc and vir's chemistry. LIKE THE TENSION IS THERE???? its subtle but its there and its driving me crazy. i think it is mentioned that theres gonna be a yandere theme if im not wrong? i wonder if that will be vir???? anyways yea he drives me crazy but im very much in love with him now.
and ofc i cant forget abt those other lovely characters. each of them have their own charms and flaws, and i cant help but appreciate all of them. tho except from deuce really.. im lowkey scared of how they reacted to saphiras death. AND saphira omg its just terrible. gave her false hope and then crushed it SLOWLY and painfully. shes a beautifully tragic character. i loved how her death alone impacted the whole group, kind of like a slap to reality to all the characters including mc. makes me think abt leonel's reading, how the first card said that a foundation will be broken? im even more convinced that the readings are subtle foreshadowing. so could the next chapter be hinting a sacrifice maybe? anyways i hope we find out the organization's other hidden motives, also the reason for torturing saphira? if they were the one who did that idk. aaaaaa im so seated for the next chapter!!! sorry for the yap and thank you once again for the delicious demo! <3
