Reporting back to say I LOVED it! Got to run a game of it for a library RPG night earlier today, and me + the kids created a fantasy world that had (in no specific order):
- A mesa where all the world's dragons Lorax'd away into the stars, leaving a ring of clawprints and a single "IF" carved into the rock
- A holy encampment of ravens surrounding the bloody shrine to their god which was actually a pyramid scheme (with their god being multiple birds faking it using a relic trenchcoat we dubbed the Raven's Mantle)
- An island called Legion that was formed by one mage continually enchanting millions of fish to forget they were fish and fully believe they were a landmass
- An ossuary tower where all ravens went to die, with their bones being added to the ever-taller spire that let out thick black smoke which carried a plague across the land (which we dubbed Corvid of course)
Any one of those could be a whole adventure, and I could run a campaign for actual years with the story we spun up in just a couple hours. My solitary regret is that I forgot to take a picture of our map to share here ;w;
I cannot WAIT to do a sci-fi game of it and try making some places planets of power! You've really got something special here, I dig it (and the kids did too)!
