I used it to get the right house alignments and when I was confused. I think my experience was much more positive than many people's because the trial and error didn't cross the point of being too much. I was able to appreciate each character for what they are rather than spend too much time on bleak endings and feel resentful. I loved Markus' special ending though and personally see it as a slightly hopeful and romantic true ending (I'm a sucker for ouroboros type stories so that could be why it landed for me)
