Awww I love this!! It took me quite a few attempts before I managed to win, wow being a single parentguin is hard. The fish kept breaking my ankles ._. But I hatched my eggy in the end, it was really fun :D
Some little tips I gathered as I was playing:
- The nest can hold 3 rocks maximum! (If you have a rock, it won't be added until the nest drops to 2 or less!)
- You can only carry 1 rock at a time, be careful not to 'pick up' extras, because they will just disappear >.< (If this could be fixed, that would be helpful to not waste rocks by accident!)
- Sliding, swimming, and sitting on the nest makes your fullness drop faster! Walk when possible to save food c:
- Your fullness can go up to 175%, meaning you can last longer between fishing trips!
- Thieves can steal your rocks even while you sit on the nest! You need to scare them off!
My strategy was to rush off as soon as the game starts and eat as much as I can, and head straight back. While away, I would pick up one(just one!) rock far away, and leave the rocks closer to the nest alone, so I have those emergency rocks I can easily grab later on! I would sit on the nest until my fullness goes below ~90%, and wait for the next thief to scare off to give myself more time before the next thief! I would go and fish, try to get to 175%, but keep an eye on my nest rocks. If it ever gets to 1, I'm rushing back home whether I've eaten fish or not :0 (But I try to leave sooner than that, while it's still at 2 rocks!)
Very fun game, I enjoyed coming up with strategies and learning how things worked! Also, the animation for the penguin sitting down on the nest is very very cute <3<3 Also love the baby penguin being on the menu screen after you beat the game! <3<3<3<3
