I haven't looked through all the comments, but I doubt I'm the first and only player who is vastly disappointed in the arm upgrade. I'm willing to accept it as something unique to X in this particular timeline and have used it strategically throughout when situations call for it. However, my biggest gripe is mechanically it's so damn inconsistent.

On the same hitbox where an enemy can end me or take down my health, my punches go straight through the enemy and do zero damage. There's also the case of you can't use it standing still, as when the button is pressed with zero directional input, nothing happens. If that's by design, then fine; but make the hitbox consistent and make the execution consistent as there have been plenty of times I'll press the button while pressing a directional input and absolutely nothing happens.

Also a semi-minor gripe - as often as I'm spammed with weapon refill orbs in Hunter difficulty, I'd be happy with at least half that drop rate being dedicated to health orbs. There needs to be a happy median between health orb drop rate where it's not as abundant as Rookie but still higher than the current drop rate for Hunter.

All criticisms aside - amazing (and difficult) game, and I appreciate all the time and effort that went into making this release. Looking forward to future updates.

I've noticed this with charge shots just going straight though enemies once in awhile as well. It's a known issue at least.
