It worked perfectly. I'd already tried the text version last year, but when I played the illustrated version (which is super cute), I loved how, day by day, I gradually got to know my roommate better.
It had its ups and downs, a bit of a rollercoaster, but it was amazing to feel like I'd really gotten to know this person, even though I ended up leaving the apartment without saying anything. There were some really good moments, but I'm not sure to what extent the instructions and the game itself reinforce the conflict and the fact that we didn't get along. :) Which isn't necessarily a bad thing; it's part of the experience and makes you reflect.
