Hello, I think you would be a great fit for a project that I wanted to start. The idea is to get four people together to work on a focused project that will be finished within a six month time period. I would work as the project coordinator as well as the narrative writer, I already have an artist who’s willing to work on the project. The other two roles that I'm still looking for would be the sound designer/music composer as well as, of course, the programmer.

I’m also a beginner with only one game that I have finished from start to end. That’s why I’d like to create a fun environment where we can learn with no experience required.  The game I’m thinking of does not have a premise either. I’m also looking to collaborate with the whole group to brainstorm a psychological game that we would all be excited about making.

The only requirement I’m looking for is someone who is willing to commit to the deadline and be able to reply within a reasonable amount of time. I find your interest in eerie games to be perfect for the project! Just a small warning but this will be a hobby project, there will be no pay. I know the team is a little bit bigger than what you originally had in mind but I ask you to give it some thought!

I'm completely okay with a bigger team. I kept the original post looking for an artist because I believed it was the bare minimum to create a story game. I actually have some experience with writing although I've never published a book. I've written fanfiction (many see fanfic as informal but it helped me get started) and short stories while self-learning prose and writing tip from free online resources.

My main concern is the size of the project. What's the estimated playtime goal we are going for? Scope is very important to me. You mentioned six month which was a lot longer than I had in mind. Initially, I was thinking a month or two. I'd be willing to talk things out either through message or even discord call. I think I'm pretty shy in person but have been trying to be more confident and meet people. If I know the scope and end goal, I think I'm pretty decent at commiting to a deadline. It does not take me forever to reply. If I'm busy, I usually at least reply that I'm busy so I don't leave other people hanging. Just a heads up, I am a college student so eventually school will roll around. School is very important to me so I will have less time to program during midterm or final week. I think I can still manage fine by programming more around busier time and warn you guys ahead of time.

I don't have much of a requirement either. I just want my collaborators to be happy working on the project. I don't care what artstyle, music, or premise we go with as long as we all like it. For example, you mentioned "psychological" and I'm very excited with that idea. I love eerie and wacky stuff.
