Just as a heads up, decided to try using itch itself to install the game. Not only would the game not launch using the "Launch" button in the app, installing it this way deleted my old save files from folders that aren't even attached to itch.io. The game did launch when I selected the Game.exe though, so not sure exactly what that's about. Guess I'll start from scratch. Oh well, I guess. :(
