I really enjoy when games that tend to be more passive, like tower defense, have an active component. Something the player can engage with during some of the more automated parts of the game. So I was intrigued by a painting the battlefield mechanic. I unfortunately could not figure out how to get the green paint down, perhaps I was missing something or there was some hidden bug? I bought the necessary upgrade I think. Seems like there is a lot of interesting design space to further explore there!

I simply spammed units until I hit the unit limit or whatever there seems to be. I wasn't sure what the green tower exactly did. Reached the boss, it started to fade out, but I had no more moneys and it stomped all over my poor tower.

Had fun. Neat idea. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much for playing and for your kind words! The "green paint" has to be drawn on top of the "blue paint"... Once you purchase the secondary color upgrade. it gives you some green patches to expand with the familiar click and drag motion, but you have to have plenty or primary/blue paint already down to be able to add your green paint! Our game has some mechanics that are hard to intuit on the first play through and this is something we'd love to continue to improve! Glad you enjoyed checking out our game, thanks again!
