Hey there. I know this is not the right place for this, but I could not find the correct topic for this and I seldom use itch, so I couldn't figure out what to do for this question. But I really wanted to get in touch with you.As a blind fellow I have been playing warsim since 2023, albeit irregularly as of late, but its brought me hours of fun and I've spent days just playing and or thinking about it, what I will do next, what needs to be invested in now and such. A friend of mine showed me a game you recently released. I think its called slumbox. The premice and all sounds very interesting, but I don't know if it can be played by blind people as nicely as warsim can be. I wanted to request that you consider adding blind accessibility. I know there aren't thousands of us that would buy the game so maybe as a developer, for you its too much work for not enough gain, but I still wanted to ask you. No harm in asking. I would like to hear back from you. Even if its a no, I can understand. I'd just like to know that you did read this at least.

Hey ST, Thank you for reaching out and it means a lot to hear how you enjoyed Warsim. I fucking adore the visually impaired gaming community after how much they have been there for Warsim and how much support I got. It's been a wholesome relationship thanks to Dark of Audiogames.net
Warsim being made the way it was, was due to me being a noob coder and not knowing how to make a visual game at the time, I just rolled with it. Just so happened it worked with screen readers if I added an ascii blocker mode.
With Slumbox it's inherantly a visual game, more akin to stardew valley etc. This alone makes that kind of accessibility a bigger issue. Further to that It's been a very big battle just getting the core developed, let alone any additional accessibility or features. I honestly can't make any promises as I cannot even ensure it will come out at the moment, it's been a turmultuous and expensive process and I'm still not out of the danger zone yet.
I'm sorry that it's not the answer you might have wanted but it's the fully honest one, big love from Wales though and cheers for the kind words <3
