I appreciate the story, it was fun! Controlled well and very fitting music!

"MacCoffee" is peak.

I loved the falling asleep and the effect, though I fell totally asleep on my 8th lap (despite going full speed with only tiny bumps the first 4.5 laps) - is there something I did wrong?

Thank you for playing the game. And yes, at least in the first two races the exhaustion is stronger because there is a non sleep requirement of 72 hours. So, as a player to maintain yourself awake you have to strategically crash your car to get some stamina back and open your eyes. The thing is, when you crash your car your exhaustion increments as well, because the player receives damage from the crash. So the player get awake a little bit but receives damage which is reflected as stamina exhaustion. That’s the logic behind the mechanic of the game.

I didn’t want to explain this as a part of the game dialogue, because it will be kinda boring for the player to get this info I guess.

My advice: In the first races, be careful with the crashes but when you are close to 30% try to crash inmediately to get stamina back a bit and stay awake.

Following the logic of the game, there are different types of races: 72 hours without sleeping(max stamina exhaustion), 48 hours without sleeping(mid stamina exhaustion) and 24 hours without sleeping(low stamina exhaustion). The idea is to vary the way the player has to run these races. In the case of 72 hours, there will be short but more “chaotic”(Crashes) tracks but in the case of 24 hours the race is more about precision(Longer tracks and less crash to sustain).

I hope this explain the mechanic. Perhaps it need some polishm but that’s how I thought it.
