If you're adding your own sounds, may I recommend you take the time to record a number of sample 'sets'.
Something in the realm of 24 sample sounds per set, and 2 or 3 sets per 'mode' of gameplay.
Recording your own samples (with a recording software like Audacity) is superior to sourcing online files for your project.
It may be possible to split your TS/TRS socket and feed your line into the Audio-in where the microphone goes in your computer. Just make sure to set the recording volume to low to prevent clipping. (Sound Cards are included on most motherboards these days, unlike back in the early 90s.)
