Interesting how when you make purchases for AI tools, the ability to click the 'generate slop' button manually begins to fall away.

Either the dev ran into a programming problem of adding user input into an automated incremental value; or it's commentary on how these 'automated tools' end up making your manual skill worse.

(I'm not as good as other people, but I can be something of a fast mouse clicker. No automated mouse clicking required. Idle games have been a guilty pleasure of mine over how much faster I've found manual clicking to be  that I can sometimes find shortcuts in games other humans can't take advantage of.)

Broadly, I made this as a homage to Universal Paperclips, but I took it in a more contemporary and demented direction with the overall plot and songs. I think the opening song sets the tone and message of the game in line with your latter assertion. I have a very love/hate relationship with AI itself, but it's indispensable at my day job.

I was thinking of adding cryptic mini games and puzzles to keep the user engaged while points are accruing that unlock discounts and powerups, but maybe that's for another game? Thanks for the comments!

Edit: I amped up the value of clicking a bit at key places in the game where it fit the story. Thanks for the nudge!
