Well, I got to 493k defeats on Pinewood Alpha before I got its relic, and almost all of those were with Hu's Road Charm equipped (don't know if that increases relic chance as well as regular coin chance, but I figured it wouldn't hurt). The previous three bosses took less than 250k *combined* to get all their relics. I was going to stop at 500k and report it as a bug. Still reporting it in case this is higher than intended.
Also, is there a limit of 100 body gained by training in one lifetime? I actually ran into a point where training wasn't increasing body any longer, but work still was.
I don't seem to have much to do at the moment besides chase relics and increase longevity. I have seen all the inheritance types and am waiting to see what happens next.
