I see. I don't think it makes sense for this game because it's hard to determine what equipment is best because all weapons/armors/rings have pros and cons. Same w/ determining which party member should use a given item.

My response will probably take a few days. Itch has restricted my account's messaging for a few days (although I've heard that this issue can take up to weeks to resolve).

Although in theory I was just explaining a bit of the same thing Randomsnowman17 said about the equipment-optimizing feature.

I'll summarize the points from my original reply, which seems to have gotten lost. Overall, I really liked the game! Although it was a bit hard to understand at first.

As for suggestions (now that I've actually put time into the dungeon):

  • It would be good if you added some kind of job or way to earn money outside the dungeon. It gets a bit tedious having to always explore for income (though that's only sometimes).

  • Being able to customize/rearrange the order of skills in the quick shortcuts — if that option already exists, I probably just didn't notice it, but it's been somewhat difficult to change the skill order. I even started a second playthrough just to add skills in the right order from the start.

  • Being able to interact with companions' equipment outside the dungeon. I know you can remove items from them, but it would be nice to be able to change their build before entering the dungeon.

  • Will you add the ability to train companions in the future? For example, in Nanako's case — at least in mine — she doesn't have any initial traits, and ends up being more of a burden in the dungeon during the first missions I did with her on the team, at least until I gave her decent equipment after farming for a while.

  • I hope you're planning to give Xena a little love too, needs some love as well.

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

1) I'll consider this.

2) Right click / long press a shortcut button to set it. You can also set shortcuts in Menu -> Hotkeys.

3) I'll consider this.

4) Yes. I'm also considering having characters learn semi-random skills in their own time as well.

5) Yes.
