1. Which guy did you like the most and why?
Reksa all day lol I am ADDICTED even after all this time. I keep replaying the route and savouring the romance (っ˘ڡ˘ς) and the abs…and the smirks…especially the tsun…plus the biting…yum…
I never was interested enough in the two other guys to pursue them, so I don’t have much of an opinion about them. Mitra IS VERY hot, though, not as hot as my lizard man ><
2. Do you play a lot of otome/visual novels? What made you choose to play Nusantara?
I've been playing VNs and otomes/gals since 2011, and Nusantara was one of the few I keep returning to time after time. I have 3 PCs and Nusantara is installed on all of them.
I would say it's mostly because of the very pleasant characters, the setting of the world, and how real culture was integrated into the story at the very start which helped me keep going. I love how there is depth to the world, but not so much that at any point it became an info dump.
And mostly importantly, Reksa, ofc, I love my man and all the blood ( ˶>˶˶<˶)
3. Which element of the game would you say was the best and which ones would you say need work? Consider story, art, characters, music etc.
I loved the art and the soundtracks, though I think audio balancing still need a bit of work. The art was PHENOMENAL even after all this time, I still love every single part of it, especially the little changes in CG variations.One thing I found to by funny about the art is that there are scenes when the character sprites fly up and down, and they're all just cut on the waist lol, which I think is an engine constraint not a mistake.
As I said above, I love the world of Nusantara. The people felt genuine, the culture felt (and is) real, and the story was realistic enough at all points that it was really easy to immerse in, hence why I kept returning to it. Also it’s aged really well and even in 2026 I don’t think the writing was much cringe at all, which is a problem with a lot of otomes.
Also, huge praise to the sound/music artists. It has become a habit of mine to have Nusantara just opened up as background music while I study/work.
4. Do you have any other questions, comments or constructive criticism?
I do! Quite a few actually.
- I only played the game, and have not been following development or anything, is there any additional content for this game aside from the Soundtrack DLC? I would LOVE to know more about the world and the people!
- Are the CG/artworks (and your 10k download banner) available to purchase/download anywhere? I would love to get them!!! (through maybe your VGen shop?)
- ૮◞ ‸ ◟ ა Are we allow to draw yumeships with the love interests? I like Tamara but I really wanna make my own fanfics to continue building my fangirl fantasy in this universe!
Lastly, I wanna say I love this game with all my heart. Thank you so much for making such a masterpiece!
