Ok, so it's intentional. Just reporting it seeing that in the original game you can carry it in the paper doll slots and store it in bags. If you are going for realism maybe the paper doll hands would make sense.
the inventory code isn’t the simplest so I’d rather not touch it since I think it’s pretty stable
